Puppet Shows & Plays

Constable Care employs a scriptwriter, artistic director and professional actors to ensure that the quality of our performance material and presentation is of the highest standard. In 2011 we formed an ongoing partnership with Edith Cowan University Child Health Promotion Reasearch Centre to provide expert advice and review for all new scripts and performance content. In addition, we partner with a wide range of peak bodies and expert agencies to ensure that our theatre-in-education content is always current, best-practice and extensively researched.

Constable Care approaches its performances from the perspective of "entertain then educate", following the principle that if children aren't engaged and having fun, they will not connect with or retain the educational content presented. All our professional scripts are therefore written to be entertaining and energetic, interactive and contemporary in their language and outlook, whilst maintaining a sensitive approach to the topics being explored.
