The Constable Care Child Safety Foundation aims to effectively communicate key life skills, citizenship and safety messages for children aged two to twelve through puppet theatre and interactive drama. Our groundbreaking, proven approach commenced more than two decades ago in 1989 and in that time over 1.8 million WA children have seen a Constable Care performance.
A registered charity, Constable Care delivers programs to up to 180,000 young Western Australians every year. We are the only organisation in Western Australia to have developed specialist early intervention performance-based programs specifically for children that are designed to tackle a wide range of issues such as bullying, vandalism, and child abuse. Our performances speak directly to children in a language that is engaging, fun, relevant and above all memorable.

Constable Care works with specialists in health, social services, child protection, education and crime prevention to identify best-practice prevention and harm-minimisation strategies for these and other issues, translating them into educational performances so that children receive a consistent message 'to do the right thing’ from a young age.
Constable Care programs are endorsed at the highest level by those charged with protecting the community. Our patrons include WA Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan APM and the West Australian Chief Justice, the Hon. Wayne Martin, and our organisation receives funding through the WA Police Strategic Crime Prevention Division and the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affiars.
